With redstone and clock circuits, would I allowed to make a clock that only operates for a few seconds, so would a machine where I press a button which activates an observer clock for 2 seconds, then the observer clock stops be allowed, or just no clocks at all

I think you can do those like an item destroyer there are item destroyers in lots of emerald farms, I think it just means having like maybe a crop farm that keeps bonemealing it

You can have a redstone clock, just needs to make sure it has an on and off switch.

you can just connect a lever to it.

what if i make a redstone clock that gets to be turned on and off but instead of doing anything that clock just activates another redstone clock that activates another untill it becomes an on and off looped loop

That would probably not be allowed due to the lag it'd cause just having a constant redstone loop.
