This alone proves the fact that Parliament has once again proven to be narrow focused. 

They don't see the wider area and what implications they are inflicting. They don't see the ripple effect of what one law application can happen. 

The only thing they were only focused one was restricting access to under 18s. A blanket resolution to a single problem. I agree, this is not a fix, it does more harm and good and I sure hope that this kicks up an uproar and show the government that all they did is shoot themselves in the foot.

As what FunMummy said, these disconnects are usually client sided (your end) or from the daily resets every midnight and noon.

Fortunately, you'd be notified in the chat when a server restart begins in the next 5 minutes so take it as a notice to change to the Creative Server so you can wait out the restart there for the next 1-2 minutes. Then rejoin.
