What are the social rules of a forum, that aren't written down as rules? Like, is there a socially acceptable limit of posts per period of time? Is there a rule against commenting on older topics? I never really posted on forums before and want to know what exactly not to do so I don't accidentally be rude.

Hi! I usually just try not to post loads, if it feels like spamming then I usually don’t post more (unless there is a question or something), and I also usually don’t post on old posts that are like “I have this head for trade, does anyone want to buy it?” Or anything about trading, asking for people to help build, etc. That are older than around 3 months, and I usually wait until people have responded to my posts or made a new post to start posting again, but just generally if it feels like spamming, something not nice, or a really really old post, then I wouldn’t post, but I’m not an expert on these things and I haven’t really done much, so if someone else says something different then they are probably right :P  but if you really need to ask something then feel free to ask!
