I believe that Autism is more of a spectrum than a "level" system - only because I believe that autism cannot be grouped into levels based on "severity", but rather that everyone has different needs. I used to use the terms "high-functioning", "low functioning" and "very autistic" but I don't anymore because I see them as offensive myself. That's why I just refer to it now as "Autism" or "Autism Spectrum Condition/ASC". :)

I have autism level autism (Jokes aside, I think I have been diagnosed with level 2)
My mum still refers autism in the old fashioned sense of 'spectrum' even if there is no defined 'level of severity'. I do have ASD and Aspergers but its low-functioning... quite low in fact that it's slightly noticeable.
All I know is that I have autism, idk what level I have
