Announcing the 4th Annual 24 Hour Livestream - A Plea to the Minecraft Community to End Bullying
Starting at midnight EST on April 2nd, lasting 24 hours, I (AutismFather) will be livestreaming for 24 hours straight to raise awareness of just how widespread and harmful bullying online is, particularly in the Minecraft community.
In 2013, I started the Autcraft server in response to hundreds of parents reaching out on social media to find safe friends for their children to play Minecraft with because their children were being bullied. After announcing the launch of my server, I received over 750 emails in the first 48 hours and now have just shy of 8000 names on the whitelist. The amount and severity of bullying was greatly underestimated.
Shortly after starting Autcraft, realizing just how much bullying there truly was, I started the "Plea to the Minecraft Community" marathon on April 2nd... Autism Awareness Day as a joint effort to raise awareness of both autism and to end the bullying that so many autistics are forced to endure.
